Braquel & Mom

Braquel and I went to Idaho to see Micah, Clint and her sweet little girl Grace. We went there to do a launch party for Micah. Yes, for those family members who haven't heard yet I am a consultant. After the party Braquel and I watched movies on her enormous theatre screen, laughed, slept in, ate, ate, ate and relaxed.

Here is another angle of Kaleb at work. He is in the goal box. I have always wanted to be a cheerleader and not in my almost 40's I'm on the sidelines again cheering another one of my children.

Kaleb is playing soccer with a comp team this year. He plays either forward or in the goal box. This summer he has been invited to go to Cedar City for the summer games.

Kaleb

We are now at the end of and era for Duff and me. Our experience with elementary school is coming to a close. This is Kaleb at a recognition event. He received an award for keyboarding 50 WPM and for perfect attendance. He is ready and excited for Jr High, but I am neither ready nor excited...ha ha ha

Braquel celebrated another fabulous birthday! I can't believe my little girl is 17. I started this blanket, Bellie, last year before Christmas, but I completed with with the help of an Angel (Sheila) just in time for her birthday.

Family Scripture Time

Look at that cherful face at 6:50 in the morning. Justin has passed the six foot mark now. Only a short time and he will get his license.

Family Scripture Time

Good morning sunshine! What happened to early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise? It is more like late to bed makes a boy...sleepy! In January of this year I made a deal with the family. I would make a yummy breakfast if they would be at the table by 6:50 for scriptures. So far we have only missed one day. This is Kaleb waiting for Justin and Bre to join us.

I caught the blog bug...

This picture was taken November 11, 1989.

Sorry for it being so little but, I'm still learning.

The evening of our wedding or as many of you may remember, it was the night that we were not legally married, but we were married none the less. Duff and I poses a marriage certificate that would leave many confused. The bishop wrote Nov 11 and the State wrote Nov 13, then one year later on Nov 25 we were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. If you are feeling confused, you are not alone, it was confusing. Actually, Duff and I forgot to get a marriage license. On the night we were to be married the bishop came in inquiring for the marriage license, but we couldn't produce one because we didn't have one. He was therefore left with two options, either marry us or turn 300 or so people away. Needless to say... He not-so-legally married us. Thus the story began. Fast forward to the present time with the blessing of electronics and you will get a brief glimps into our family and our household as we are now in the throws of life.
